If I was a blogger I would have posted a blog about this myself but found your site searching to see if anyone was blogging about it. I did not find anything but thought this was a good place to start discussing it. I am investigating cookie behaviour and contacting merchants and affiliate marketing companies such as Linkshare and CJ. My findings probably do need a blog of their own.
It would have to be the guy who was cookie-stuffing with a smiley face. This guy was hanging out in the online chat forums for major brands like Apple and Blackberry, posting these jokey little comments like any other engaged member of the community, except at the end of his posts instead of using the usual smiley face icon provided on the site he was using a cookie-stuffer in the shape of a smiley face. All someone had to do was read his post with his fake smiley face, and they’d get a cookie stuffed on their browser that gave this guy credit for any purchases they made at hundreds of sites around the Web.
I work as a freelancer and I also often use different affiliate programs, often associated with site designers or hosting providers. For me personally, this is a good extra income to the main orders. Recently, I also tried an affiliate program from the form designer and calculators https://ucalc.pro/en/affiliates Earnings, of course, less than on site designers and hosting, but constant. The bottom line is that I register a client in the service and plus to the whole I create a calculator on it for the client. Clients are happy and my money goes 🙂
Start by thinking about your audience. What kinds of products or services are they most interested in? Which products or services are you currently using that you would feel comfortable recommending to your readers? You can add links to any affiliate program to your site, but if you want to market them with authenticity, it’s best to stick to companies with which you already have some kind of connection.
Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways people make money online. It is a strategy where an individual partners with a business in order to make a commission by referring readers or visitors to a business’s particular product or service. But that really is quite a simple explanation. To be really successful at making money with affiliate marketing there is a little more to it.
